She doesn't usually wear simple or sporty clothing like her twin sister, Maddie. Also in Stand-Up-A-Rooney, it is revealed that Liv and Maddie pulled a switch-a-roo on Karen when they were younger as Karen wanted to be the person who took Liv and Maddie to get their ears pierced for the first time. It is revealed when their cousin Ruby really wants to get her ears pierced and Karen recalls the time she took Liv and Maddie to get theirs done. Maddie got her ears pierced first and Karen wanted to take Liv to get hers done after she returned home from filming her TV show Sing It Loud! In LA, however it turns out that while Liv was over there, Karen’s sister Dena took Liv to get her ears pieced.

Tell us your favorite albums, games, movies, and TV shows of the year in... With Season four being the last season for Liv and Maddie, it's a safe bet, that the staff of the show wanted to allow one last chance for Kali Rocha and her writing partner Jonathan McClain to write an episode. This is the first out of two episodes where a confessional wasn't shown.

Season 3 Episodes

Liv can be a bit self-centered and sometimes has a little too much pride in her talent (as seen in Twin-A-Rooney) but only because she has such a strong love for what she does and she always means well. Olivia "Liv" Rooney is one of the two main protagonists from the Disney Channel original series Liv and Maddie, along with her identical twin sister and best friend Maddie. Aside from Maddie, Liv also has two brothers Joey and Parker as well as her parents Karen and Pete Rooney who work at her school. Additionally, Ms. Rocha once reminded us in an interview that Disney tends to make things cheap, but in some cases it works, because it gives cast-members the chance to perform other tasks behind the scenes, like write some episodes. Nevertheless, this gave the team of Rocha and McClain a chance to write something true to their hearts, and like in "BFF-A-Rooney," also give Ms. Rocha a chance to boost her own ego, which is well-deserved.

First they decide to build a booth where people can shoot a basketball to help them raise money. Suddenly, Parker's would-be girlfriend Val comes over to visit him and notices some structural deficiencies in the booth, which neither of the two girls buy until Maddie shoots a ball, causing it to collapse. That's when they decide to get help from the teenage Einstein, and use a classroom at her school. But rather than build a booth to raise money for the house, Maddie suggests that they should build one themselves.

Friends

-A-Rooney, causing her to possibly never being able to sing ever again. In later episodes, she developed a high pitched diva type voice, this is most likely to help distinguish her from Dove Cameron's other character, Maddie Rooney. She is more of a girly-girl compared to Maddie, although in later episodes Maddie has been shown to have a girlier side to her. When Ocean was first set up to be Liv's friend by Maddie, Liv was pretty upset. After forgiving Maddie, Liv learned that she and Ocean have a lot in common and the two became good friends. Liv dated Miller whilst she was in Hollywood as revealed in Skate-A-Rooney.

At the age of six, Liv sang a marathon of Christmas songs, which led to a commercial for a local muffler repair shop when she was eight as said in Muffler-A-Rooney. When she was eleven years old, she got the role of Stephanie Einstein in a TV series, Sing It Loud!. After receiving the role, Liv moved to Los Angeles, California and lived with her Aunt Dena and cousin Ruby, to work on the show. Liv lived out in Hollywood for four years, up until the series ended when she was 15 years old.

Relationships

When the photographer finally arrives at the house and takes pics, Liv is almost ready to catch her in the act of getting a check from her, when she finds the woman was actually going to give her a check. So while the Rooney matriarch doesn't lose money on the deal, the gig may not turn out as glamorous as she expects. Other shows and movies but declined because she wanted to spend more time with her family, whom she hadn't seen personally in 4 years. Liv and her father Pete Rooney do not interact much but Liv missed him when she was in Hollywood and hugged him when she arrived. They don't have a lot in common since Liv is a girly-girl actress and Pete is a sports coach, but they still love each other very much. There's some serious media, twin, and boyfriend drama in this episode.

This was shown when she destroyed a pair of heels she really loved because Maddie got too addicted to them and even refused to go to a basketball game (Shoe-A-Rooney). Being a lot more girly than Maddie, she's much more fashionable with her wardrobe than Maddie. She is sweet, graceful, and tries to see the good in everyone, and gives everyone a fair chance, even if they are usually a bad person (as shown in Steal-A-Rooney). Liv is also very outgoing and loves to talk, particularly about herself.

Movies

Liv is at the local mall that they call "The Cove" with some fans, while Karen helps take some pictures with them on their cell phones. Just then a modeling agent and photographer spots the two women, and wants to use one of them in a photo-shoot. But instead of seeking Liv, it's Karen that she wants to take pictures of. Now, some people may find it creepy to get all hot and bothered over Rooney family matriarch, but remember that I'm 52 years old, which means not only do I have the right to view the woman as a sex symbol, but it's actually more appropriate for me to do so. Anyway, Karen anticipates an upcoming photo-shoot at Dena's household, yet Liv still tries to convince her mother that the woman is a scam-artist.

Liv has been known to be incredibly dank to her twin sister Maddie and other people as shown in most of the episodes. While Liv may seem naive from time-to-time, she is secretly a genius, as revealed in Brain-A-Rooney. Liv got her drivers license in Switch-A-Rooney, although she hates driving, where as Maddie really wanted to drive but did not pass. Liv is a go-getter and is very determined whenever she strives for a certain and always puts her best into everything she does, to the point where her determination even surpasses her sister's. She is a very smart, beautiful, independent young lady who never lets anyone bring her down, not even her own friends and family.

Episode Summary

During this time both Liv and Maddie were shouting “daddy” at the same time which made Pete very stressed with what to do - however he managed to look after them both, which made Karen very proud. Because Liv is the more sweet and outgoing one of the twins, people usually have high expectations for her but this doesn't really bother her all that much and she has enjoyment in simply participating and having a good time as said in Ask Her More-A-Rooney. Maddie is very competitive at basketball and loves sports whereas Liv hates sports. Liv doesn’t like to go outside when Maddie is playing basketball in case one flies off her head. However, she will occasionally start to get competitive and become an even more unstoppable force than her sister.

After reaching the end of season 3, you'll get why you miss these relationships so much because it was never forced and they never made you hate them. It's sad to see how the next episodes willing mess up everything just to forcefully bring back a forgotten character and lose two valuable characters who loved the twins in process. He sometimes helps Liv out, for example, in school when their parents walked past them, he warned Liv about their public displays of affection. Like all siblings they like to tease each other, in Twin-A-Rooney Joey let slip about Liv pretending to be Maddie during the family meeting after Liv thought that she got away with it. Even though the twins are total opposites, they are identical and there has been times they have pulled a switch-a-roo, where they have pretended to be the opposite twin. (as shown in Detention-A-Rooney, Meatball-A-Rooney and Champ-A-Rooney) No one can tell the twins apart except from Maddie’s boyfriend Diggie and sometimes occasionally their mother Karen.

Maddie and Willow are jogging through the same mall as part of their basketball training, when they stumble upon a local young musician making up a song about them. The two ex-Ridgewood High School jock girls are big fans of this kid, and naturally throw money in his guitar case. Unfortunately, Willow accidentally threw a punch card for a juice bar in there and tries to get it back, and that's when they both discover that their favorite local musician is a homeless runaway. This story-line is the reason for the title, and that's when they decided they're going to raise some money so they can find this kid a place to live.
